Recommendations and maintenance

For leather bags and clutches

In order to ensure their longevity, we recommend the following:

– Keep you bag dry (out of the rain) and away from intense heat (radiators, the sun)

– Avoid any contact with alcohol (perfumes, solvents) or greasy materials (make-up)

– Avoid contact with coarse or abrasive materials

– Avoid impact on the metallic parts, as this may damage the fittings over time. Clean them with a chamois cloth

– Use a special leather product to make your bag waterproof, following the directions for use

– Clean your leather bag with a damp cloth or with a clear, non-greasy high-quality leather cleanser, using circular motions to restore the leather’s silky appearance and brilliance.

– Take particular care not to get light-colored bags dirty, as they are more difficult to clean.

In case of contact with water, do not wipe the leather. Instead, pat it dry with an absorbant cloth.

If the leather is stained, we recommend blotting it with a clean, damp, and non-abrasive soft cloth and a little bit of pH-neutral soap. Let it dry, then apply a high-quality, non-greasy and clear cleanser in circular motions to restore the leather’s silky appearance and brilliance.

After use, we recommend storing your bag upright in its velvet case, and to stuff it with tissue paper to preserve its shape. Store it away from light, humidity, and heat.
